3 days.

Day 1: Marimba, songs and stories.

Enjoy and feel the cultural roots of the Guapireño, learn the most important details of the territory, and enjoy a musical ensemble with traditional teachers to the rhythm of marimba.

  • 11:00 am: check in at the hotel.
  • 12:30 m: Typical lunch where you will discover with our traditional experts the secrets of the seasoning of traditional Pacific cuisine. Includes traditional drink.
  • 2:00 pm. Afro and indigenous crafts, we will also visit crafts derived from the coconut shell. You will have the opportunity to learn details about the crafts made from straw (teapot), with which they make hats, bags, fans, individual items, among others. It's time to make your purchases.
  • 3:00 pm. Tour to the main square, here you begin to connect with the history of Guapi, learn about customs, festivals, important aspects of the Guapireña population, its religiosity and spirituality. We will visit the market square, the main wall, La Pola Park and the cathedral.
  • 4:00 pm. Visit traditional music school where you will live an experience to the rhythm of marimba. Be part of this musical ensemble.
  • 5:30 pm. I love Guapi, Instagram moment. Enjoy a spectacular view of the river and the sunset.
  • 7:30 pm. Guapireña Dinner.

Day 2: Gorgona, palm trees beach

Very early at dawn our adventure continues, after approximately 1.5 hours of travel at sea, Gorgona welcomes us with its exuberant humid tropical jungle considered the science island, being a national treasure of diversity and conservation.

  • 7:00 am. Departure towards the PNN Gorgona.
  • 9:00 am Registration and induction talk at the PNN Gorgona.
  • 10:00 Visit Playa Palmeras, where you can sunbathe and play with the waves. Visit Yundigua beach, an ideal place to snorkel and enjoy the diversity of marine fauna found on the Island.
  • 1:30 pm. Lunch.
  • 3.30 pm. Old prison tour. From the town we begin this tour where you will witness how the jungle has been devouring the facilities of what remains of the old prison, accompanied by a park guide you will learn details of what the prison was.
  • 7:30 pm. Dinner.

Day 3: Final march.

Very early we had breakfast and prepared to leave for Guapi, and later to the airport where we finished this wonderful experience.

  • Return to Guapi.
  • Visit crafts.
  • Departure to the airport to the airport.

  • Ground transportation by motorcycle taxi to and from the airport.
  • Maritime transfer on the Guapi-Gorgona-Guapi route.
  • 2 nights accommodation, one night in Guapi and another in Gorgona.
  • 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 dinners and 2 snacks.
  • Medical assistance card x 3 days.
  • Boots for tours.
  • Gorgon expert guide and local interpreters during all tours.

  • Activities not described in the plan.
  • Airline tickets.
  • Entrance fee to the PNN Gorgona.

  • Carry identity documents (identity card, identity card or passport and health insurance card).
  • Be on time at the meeting places, stay at the same pace and with the group. In case of food/accommodation requirements, inform in advance. *subject to additional costs.
  • Respect the ecosystem and communities, taking special care not to extract flora or fauna and disposing of waste appropriately.
