Day 1: Caño Unión Trail
We begin our trip exploring the Caño Unión Trail, next to the imposing Sierra de la Macarena. This natural paradise is home to an astonishing diversity of primates and birds, culminating in the spectacular Caño Unión waterfall. A natural spectacle that you cannot miss!
Day 2: La Corcovada Reserve
The second day takes us to the La Corcovada Reserve, located on the right bank of the Güejar River in the Orinoco area of the municipality. Here, you can observe more than 200 species of birds and, if you are lucky, the majestic jaguar in its natural habitat. To end the day, we will descend by canoe through Caño Tubo, enjoying the landscape until we reach Piñalito. In this place, we will explore the rich historical memory of this beautiful territory and its cultural importance.
Day 3: La Piel Roja Agrotourism Farm
On our last day, we will visit the La Piel Roja Agrotourism Farm. This 23 hectare reserve offers a 90% chance of sighting the Zocay Monkey. In addition, we will live a unique experience in the transformation of cocoa and learn about the inspiring story of transition from illicit to licit crops in Vista Hermosa.
