LOST CITY ITINERARY

DAY 1

Santa Marta • Mamey • Camp 1

• Departure from the hotel or accommodation for three hours in 4×4 with
  Mamey destination.
• Lunch in the town and walk for four hours towards the
  Adan or Alfredo camp.
• Night in hammocks or beds with mosquito nets.
• Dinner at the camp.

DAY 2

Camp 1 • Mutanzi • Camp 3

• Breakfast.
• Early departure from Adan or Alfredo camp, walk for two hours to the Mutanzi indigenous village.
• 40-minute walk to the Mumake camp, where you can enjoy a delicious hot lunch.
• Walk for four hours until you reach the Mamo Romualdo camp (Paraiso Teyuna). Night in hammocks or beds, dinner at the camp.

DAY 3

Camp 3 • Lost City • Camp 2

• Breakfast.
• Early departure from the Paraiso Teyuna camp, climb for one hour to the Lost City.
• Two-hour tour to get to know the archaeological, ethnological and historical area and free time to enjoy the place and the healing energy of the mountain.
• Return to the Paraiso Teyuna camp, Lunch.
• 4-hour walk to Mumake camp.
• Night in hammocks or beds, dinner at the camp.

DAY 4

Camp 2• Mamey • Santa Marta

• Breakfast.
• Early departure from Mumake camp, 7-hour walk to Mamey.
• Lunch and departure in 4×4 for 3 hours to the hotel.

We have some small recommendations that you should keep in mind before and during the tour:

• If you are vegan or vegetarian, be sure to notify when booking.
• If you have any special medical conditions or allergies, please notify yourself when booking.
• Do not carry any valuable items.
• If you have additional luggage, we can store it in our office for free.
• Bring all your electronic devices charged and, if possible, carry a portable battery.
• Bring a 1.5 liter bottle of water for the first day. Magic Tour will supply you with the necessary water during the trip.
• Take with you what you really need for 4 days, remember that it is a long walk and if you bring less things, the walk will be easier.
• Wear comfortable clothing like a short t-shirt for walking because the weather is hot and humid and at night it is important to wear long pants and long-sleeved sweaters to sleep because of mosquitoes or insects.
• Please note that this is an eco-friendly destination with some adaptations to the accommodation, bathrooms and seating area to ensure an enjoyable experience.
• During the trip, follow the guide's instructions at all times.
• At each campsite there are stores where you can buy Gatorade, water, drinks and snacks.
• You are responsible for your personal belongings. Take care of them.
• It is prohibited: Drugs, excessive alcohol, prostitution and bad behavior that threatens others.
