On this visit, tourists will be able to meet the Knowledge present in the Los Flamencos Fauna and Flora Sanctuary. There you can enjoy three different experiences.
1. Bird watching:
Visitors will discover the plants and animals of the dry forest of La Guajira. During the morning you will be able to navigate the Navioquebrado Lagoon in a Cayuco, a traditional boat, and learn about the natural habitat of the majestic Totoko, also known as the pink flamingo. In addition, visitors will also be able to learn about other seabirds in the territory guided by the knowledge of the Sanctuary's local youth.
2. Ranchería afternoon:
In this experience, visitors will enjoy an afternoon with a Wayúu indigenous community. They will open the doors of their home to us and visitors will be able to exchange knowledge with them and learn about their native culture: their dances, typical dishes and their lifestyle.
